25th–27th September | Cornwall Metal Detecting Rally Roadshow

The final stop of the September rally roadshow is here and we are ending it in style. Full established campsite down at the end of West Cornwall with hot showers, toilets for everyone and caravan/motorhome electrical hookup for limited ticket numbers.

Weekend 3 of Duchy’s Dirty Weekends brings together everything this roadshow is about: exciting Cornwall land, a proper festival-style atmosphere, on-site camping, traders, demos, food, music, a bar and a field full of detectorists ready to make memories.

This weekend is proudly sponsored and supported by Minelab. Minelab demonstration areas hosted by Luc Van Assche and Paul Cee, showcasing the new Vanquish 60 series and Manticore. With Minelab involved, Weekend 3 will have a brilliant brand presence, machine knowledge, trader support and roadshow energy.

Weekend 3 takes place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September, with camping arrival from 3pm on Thursday 24th September. All attendees must leave site by midday on Monday 28th September at the latest.

Weekend Camping & Detecting Tickets: £85 per detectorist
Weekend Detecting Only Tickets: £65 per detectorist
Camping Only: £25 per person
Children’s Tickets: Under 13 - free

The Detecting

Weekend 3 will be held on 200+ acres of 90% arable land, giving detectorists plenty of room to enjoy the final stop of the roadshow.

Cornwall is a place many detectorists rarely get the chance to search, and that is what makes these weekends so special. Fresh ground, great surroundings and a proper community atmosphere, all brought together for detectorists who want more than just another day in a field.

Location

This Duchy’s Dirty Weekend Rally will be held in West Cornwall, roughly 6 miles from Penzance, a rare chance to detect in one of the most ancient and history-rich corners of the British Isles.

The wider area is packed with Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman history, from standing stones and stone circles to ancient settlements and ritual sites. It is also one of Cornwall’s most exciting areas for Iron Age gold history, making this a seriously special setting for a weekend in the fields.

Exact location, entrance details and arrival instructions will be emailed to ticket holders only closer to the event to protect the landowner, keep the permission secure and help arrivals run smoothly.

The rough area is being shared now so those travelling from across the UK can plan their journey and arrange accommodation nearby if needed.

Family-Friendly Weekend

Duchy’s Dirty Weekends is designed to be a friendly, welcoming event for detectorists, partners and families. Whether you are coming for the detecting, the camping, the traders, the food, the music or simply the weekend away, we want everyone to feel part of it.

After a day in the field, the event area will be the place to relax, grab some food, enjoy a cold drink, listen to live music and catch up with friends old and new.

After a full day of swinging, digging and chasing those signals, you can head back to the event area, grab some food, enjoy a drink, chat with traders, catch up with friends and soak up the final weekend atmosphere.

Traders, Brands & Demonstrations

Duchy’s Dirty Weekends will bring together some brilliant names from across the detecting world. Expect traders, dealers, brand areas and demonstration spaces where you can talk machines, compare kit, ask questions and see what is new.

Whether you are looking at your next detector, want advice on settings, fancy trying something different or just want to chat with people who genuinely know the hobby, the trade and demo areas will be a big part of the weekend.

NCMD Membership Required

For insurance purposes, all detectorists attending must have a valid NCMD membership/license on entry.

Please make sure your membership is active and available to show when you arrive. This is an important requirement and helps keep the event properly covered, safe and organised for everyone involved.

Be Part of the Final Weekend

Weekend 3 is the last stop of the September roadshow, and we want to finish with a proper Duchy send-off.
